TIM JONES (BARITONE)

Tim is the founder and artistic director of the award-winning comedy a cappella quartet Moosebutter, with whom he performed and toured until 2007. With varied instruments including trumpet, French horn, drums, buckets, washboard, spoons, ice cream scoops, and, of course, his voice, Tim’s background includes jazz, classical, rock, and a cappella music as well as experience in improv comedy and music theater. Tim has a BA in Music, Vocal Performance emphasis, from the University of Utah and is completing a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting at the University of Colorado in Boulder, CO. Tim has also been a choir teacher, librarian, shoe salesman, and slicer-of-meat at a gourmet restaurant. An avid lover of sports, art, music, food, and good conversation (all at the same time, if possible!), Tim has a wonderful wife and four sparkly-eyed children.
   

RENE RUIZ (DIRECTOR/BASS)

Rene is from Austin, Texas where he studied Music and Theatre at the University of Texas at Austin. His career led him to Orlando, FL where he worked as a performer and show director for the Walt Disney World Co. His regional directing credits include "Six Women With Brain Death or Expiring Minds Want To Know", "Is There Life After High School?", "Weird Romance" and "Forever Plaid" While in Orlando, he developed his concept of a theatrical vocal performance piece and the first production of "Toxic Audio" premiered in 1998 at the Orlando International Fringe Festival. He is continuing to develop new musical projects and theatrical entertainments.
   

PAUL SPERRAZZA (TENOR)

Paul is the "Human Beat Box" of the group who can spit out rhythms faster than a speeding bullet. He has two beautiful children, named Ayla and Isabella with his wife Angie. Paul earned a vocal performance scholarship to Valencia College in Orlando, Florida. He is a professional acrobat who has been used as a human jump rope. Favorite roles include "Jinx" in the show, "Forever Plaid". Paul has been a bus boy, bell-boy, art dealer, security guard, and party clown. He is still a party clown and he can hit a screaming high E flat. When he's not on stage, he's busy developing his own music projects and teaching vocal performance workshops.
   

CHRISTINE VIENNA (SOPRANO)

Christine Vienna, a Cleveland native, is excited to be part of the Toxic Audio Las Vegas cast! Formerly a member of Western Michigan University’s Gold Company Program, she is primarily a jazz vocalist, and has studied with Diana Spradling and Kim Nazarian. She is currently a student at Baldwin-Wallace College pursuing a pre-dental biology degree, but continues to play in jazz clubs, private parties, and restaurants around the world. Christine has also been privileged to perform at the International Association for Jazz Education annual conference and the esteemed Lincoln Center in New York City. At just 20 years old, she is thrilled for the opportunity to perform with Toxic Audio, and thanks her friends and family for their love and support.
   

HEATHER FRIEDMAN (ALTO)

Heather joins us from New York City where she was recently seen in the Counting Squares Theater production of "Boy's Life".  In fall of 2007 she appeared at Studio 54 in "Broadway Sings the Phonebook" a benefit for the Make a Wish Foundation.   Also a singer songwriter, she can be found playing her own music out around New York. Heather's background centers around Musical Theatre and Jazz. An alumni of Univeristy of Central Florida, Heather received her Bachelors in Classical Voice. Favorite teachers include Priscilla Bagly, Louis Roney, and Craig Carnelia.  While in Orlando, she performed with Nino Cuomo in their musical duo, Prima Fusion. Her love of music has been infused by her family and she would like to thank them for their support. Joining the Toxic family has been a long time dream for Heather and she's so excited to join this amazing cast!
